What is a Moms' Night Out?

If you don't know what it is, then you probably really need one!

email KarenSimply put, Moms' Night Out is a time of refreshing for moms of all ages. These are mom-only programs which provide time for fun, growth and fellowship. Karen will give two presentations (Usually Confessions of an Irritable Mother and Finding Joy. Though you may choose other topics according to your needs.) and share with moms the hope God has given her in the midst of mothering struggles. Typically, organizers of these events contact local businesses and gather door prizes to give away during the intermission. And the evenings always end with a dessert reception - where the fun continues, and Karen is able to meet the women who have come to be refreshed.

Whether you are looking for an opportunity to bring several moms' groups together for an evening, an outreach program for the moms in your community, or perhaps a fundraising event for your group, Moms' Night Out will be a blessing to everyone involved.

What moms are saying:

"We had Karen Hossink come and speak at our local Moms' Night Out here in Florida. She delivered a message of HOPE to overwhelmed moms – got them to laugh, and allowed them to cry. Karen is personable and honest, and loves God's Word. He worked that all together to make a great night. We indulged in chocolate afterward and she mingled with all the Moms. We love Karen!" – Greta

"You really need to do more events like this one! You were amazing... your words and message inspiring... everything about it was wonderful. I felt so blessed to be there. And I have a feeling my kids are glad I went, too! (Your message inspired a little more patience in me when dealing with them.)" - Amanda

"Thank You so much for tonight. What a gift you have given to all of us women." - Amy

"It was wonderful hearing you speak tonight in Ocala. I felt truly blessed and felt I walked out of there refreshed and a new woman. God sent you on a mission and you ministered to the heart and soul of the Irritable Mothers that were there. Thank you sharing your message." - Jen

"I truly enjoyed meeting you last night, Karen. You are a beautiful breath of fresh air in a time when mothers need you even more. They need to hear your humorous yet very real stories of how God has and continues to use your children to mold and shape YOU into His image. I was blessed in our meeting and so thankful to make a new friend. Love you." – Lisa

What Karen says:

I absolutely, positively, without question LOVE doing Moms' Night Out events. First of all, moms need time out to get away from the stress of home and family life. I know that when I have time away, I come home a better mom. And I am delighted to be a part of that renewal process for other women.

But more than that, when I have a couple of hours to spend with moms – when there are no interruptions of crying children, and the women are able to be fully present – the messages of HOPE and JOY that God has been working in me seem to speak louder. I love seeing moms enjoy themselves, and it delights my heart to witness the work God does in their hearts through this time together. Oh, and the dessert reception at the end of the night? Bonus!
